La Crescenta mother still missing, no foul play suspected

Police on Tuesday say they still want to speak to a 33-year-old La Crescenta mother who went missing Nov. 11 after leaving a note in her apartment saying “goodbye to her family.”

The woman, Megan Sue Dipiazza -- who police say has a history of depression -- was reported missing that evening, according to the Glendale Police Department.

There are no signs of foul play or suspicious activity, police said. Her family has been working with detectives because they have been concerned about her welfare.

Dipiazza has blond hair, green eyes, and is 5 feet 6 tall and 122 pounds.

She drives a 2013 Gray Toyota Scion, with the California license plate number 6XJR885, although the plate may not be on the car.

Anyone with information on Dipiazza’s whereabouts was encouraged to call Glendale Police Sgt. Jeff Newton at (818) 548-3987 or (818) 548-4840. To remain anonymous, call Glendale Crime Stoppers at (818) 507-7867.
