Obituary for Kengla, Kenneth William, M.D.

Kenneth William Kengla, M.D. passed away on January 27, 2013. He was 73 years old. Dr. Kengla was an Orthopedic Surgeon for 35 years in Orange County. He attended USC Medical School, was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, and received the Merck Manual Award.
In 1966, Ken was drafted and served as a Captain in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany and was awarded an Army Commendation Medal.
Upon his return to the United States, he completed his residency in Orthopedics at County USC Hospital.
He was a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Kengla was on staff at Fountain Valley Hospital, Irvine Medical Center, and Hoag Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine DuFault Kengla; his son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Alice Kengla; his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Juergen Kuhmann; and his twin grandchildren Ethan and Kyle Kengla.
