Police report, March 3: Man arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale

The following were taken from daily booking reports from the Glendale Police Department.

AREA 1

700 block of South Brand Boulevard

Gor Arakelyan, 25, was arrested Feb. 27 on suspicion of grand theft.

200 block of Chester Street

Andranik Chezmetsyan, 21, was arrested Feb. 27 on an outstanding warrant for grand theft.

500 block of North Maryland Avenue

Suren Hovhannisyan, 31, was arrested Feb. 27 on suspicion of spousal assault and an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended or revoked license.

1500 block of East Broadway

Shelah Mincey, 35, was arrested Feb. 27 on suspicion of domestic battery and unlawful removal or damaging a wireless communication device.

Editor’s Note: The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office declined to file charges, and no further action was taken in this case.

200 block of East Garfield Avenue

Jonathan Vice, 24, was arrested Feb. 27 on an outstanding warrant for burglary.

West Broadway and South Central Avenue

Steve Woo, 24, was arrested Feb. 27 on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale.

1300 block of East Windsor Road

Vazken Malekian, 74, was arrested Mar. 1 on suspicion of spousal assault.

AREA 2

500 block of Justin Avenue

Luis Vallejos, 20, was arrested Feb. 26 on suspicion of resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court or pay a fine.

West Alameda Avenue and Flower Street

Eric Laguna, 26, was arrested Feb. 27 on outstanding warrant for participating in a speed contest.

300 block of Burchett Street

Ara Ghanbarian, 37, was arrested Feb. 29 on an outstanding warrant for forgery.

San Fernando Road and East Spazier Avenue

Alexander Bakshinyan, 25, was arrested Feb. 27 on suspicion of robbery, receiving stolen property, identity theft and resisting arrest.

AREA 3

Emerald Isle and Camino San Rafael

Jorge Diaz, 58, was arrested Mar. 1 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

AREA 4

Montrose Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard

Jonathon Pruitt, 33, was arrested Feb. 27 on suspicion of an outstanding warrant for driving without a valid license.
