Lacey has the skills to be county’s D.A.

Kudos to the Los Angeles Times in their Oct. 22 editorial endorsing Chief Deputy Dist. Atty. Jackie Lacey as the next district attorney of Los Angeles County. She has risen up the ranks during her 16-year tenure with the department from that of prosecutor to chief deputy.

To me that says a lot about her leadership skills. She is presently supervising 1,000-plus attorneys within the department. She’s not timid in making changes within the department, is future-oriented, and has the ability to save the department valuable time, money and resources. There’s no doubt at all that Lacey will make a fine district attorney.
