Yamada column told history of Wellness Works

I would like to extend my thanks to Katherine Yamada for her story of the house at 540 W. Broadway (“The story of a much-loved old house,” Verdugo Views, Nov. 3). Not only does it speak to the house at 540 W. Broadway, it represents the complete history of the development of Wellness Works.

I am proud to be a member of the community of Glendale that honors and cares for our veterans and their families. No other city that I know of has such a program. I would encourage everyone to support this fabulous program at Wellness Works. The expense of this program has increased to the point that they must reach out to the community for financial support to continue.
