- La Cañada Unified officials announced Tuesday five of 39 iPads stolen from Palm Crest Elementary School last month have been recovered by sheriff’s deputies, who’ve made one arrest in what could be part of a larger theft ring.
Some La Cañada neighbors asked the city to intervene with Southern California Edison to find less intrusive ways to replace power poles, so the city did.
Former Glendale City Councilman, two-time mayor and retired lawyer Robert Garcin, who served when the Glendale Galleria first opened its doors, has died. He was 86.
