A proposed state bill by Assemblyman Mike Gatto (D-Silver Lake) that would utilize digital signs along freeways typically used for displaying Amber Alerts in order to help identify hit-and-run suspects earned support from the Los Angeles City Council.
- At Glendale Community College, 54% of students who were tracked from 2007 through 2013 went on to earn a certificate, degree or transfer to four-year school, according to data released this week showing the college’s student success rates.
Glendale is set to swap a poison that parks maintenance workers use to kill mice and rats for one that’s less dangerous to other wildlife that may eat the rodents, following City Council review this week.
