Four rescuers from Montrose Search and Rescue team have joined the search in Los Padres National Forest for a missing firefighter and his dog, sheriff’s officials confirmed on Thursday.
A man suspected of stealing fish from pet shops in Glendale and Burbank dating back to last year was arrested at his North Hollywood apartment on Tuesday, police said.
A mountain lion was spotted roaming in the Brace Park area in Burbank late Wednesday and early Thursday, officials said.
Glendale school officials are preparing to issue their second round of Measure S bond funds, totaling $70 million with a majority of the money going toward replacing bungalows with permanent one- and two-story classroom buildings.
