Authorities on the lookout for suspect in alleged gas station robbery
Sheriff’s officials are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a La Crescenta gas station and fled the scene Saturday evening, authorities said.
The robbery occurred around 6 p.m. at the Valera gas station on the 2600 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to Sgt. Booker Hollis from the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s station.
The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a dark blue hoodie with a baseball cap underneath the hood. The man fled the gas station on foot, heading southbound on Raymond Avenue.
It is unclear if the suspect was carrying a weapon or what was stolen, Hollis said.
Sheriff’s units are actively searching for the suspect and the investigation remains ongoing.
