A sobriety checkpoint over the weekend netted one alleged drunk driving arrest, while three other motorists were booked on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs, police said.

Of the 942 vehicles stopped at the checkpoint set up at Brand Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue Saturday night, 15 drivers were given field-sobriety tests, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

In addition to the DUI arrests, there was one alleged narcotics possession arrest and 15 people were taken into custody for driving without a license, she said.

Overall, four vehicles were towed, Lightfoot said.
