City of Glendale launches new website

Share

Glendale officials unveiled this week a sleek new website that aims to improve user interaction and pave the way for more transparency.
Users now navigate to www.glendaleca.gov instead of www.ci.glendale.ca.us. The website features tabs for “news” and “upcoming events” on the homepage and a “How Do I” button that guides users through City Hall, from applying for a job to reporting graffiti to finding parks.

Also in the works is for a portion of the website to show city spending data in an easy-to-use interface, much like the “open data” web application provided by the city of Los Angeles’ controller, local officials said.
