Delegates at the Democratic National Convention listen to President Obama's acceptance speech and lift a rainbow flag adorned with gay rights stickers in Charlotte, North Carolina. Though he had come under attack y some gay rights activists over the pace of progress for gay rights, his support in the LGBT community couldn't be much stronger after his ending of the Pentagon's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy and for publicly voicing support for gay marriage.
