‘Frozen’ planned for Americana at Brand summer film series

The Americana at Brand is launching a summer movies series with a showing of the animated hit “Frozen” on Tuesday evening.

Plans are to show films outdoors on the green at the Glendale shopping center every remaining Tuesday in July. Besides “Frozen,” the series includes “Clueless” on July 15, “Hunger Games: Catching Fire” on July 22 and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” on July 29, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Admission is $10, and includes a sandwich meal. For an extra $5, moviegoers can get VIP seating, popcorn and Sugarfina sweets. To purchase tickets and select your choice of sandwich, click on the movie titles above.

Bring a blanket to sit on -- no chairs allowed.

The movie evenings are scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesdays at the Americana at Brand, 889 Americana Way, Glendale. More information is available on the Americana’s website calendar page.
