BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Glendale 50, Grant 42: Vahe Aristakessian finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds Friday to lead the Nitros (5-6) in a pool-play game of the Hart Tournament. Arthur Terzyan had eight blocks for the Nitros, who will meet Hart in the tournament’s championship game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Flintridge Prep 77, Troy 65: Robert Cartwright and Jedrick Eugenio had 20 points apiece Friday for the Rebels (7-3) in a semifinal game of the Santa Barbara Holiday Classic. Cartwright also added eight assists and teammates Tyler Weakland and Chadd Cosse had 16 and 14 points, respectively.

Crescenta Valley 63, Great Oak 62: Nick Springer had 20 points and Cole Currie added 18 on Friday for the Falcons (9-3) in a MaxPreps Holiday Classic game at Cathedral City High. Eric Patten finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons, who got 10 rebounds from Elliot Wilson.

Hoover 60, La Habra 57: Francis Roncal had 17 points and Jash Francisco added 15 on Friday to lead the Nitros in a consolation game of the Whittier Tournament.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Glendale 45, Inglewood 27: Kristineh Zadourian registered 21 points and five steals Friday to lead the Nitros (6-3) in a West Coast Holiday Classic game. Tara Abdul-Ahad finished with 10 points and three steals for Glendale, which got seven rebounds and three steals from Erlin Keshishzadeh.

Golden Valley 52, La Cañada 39: Courtney Chen finished with a team-high 17 points Friday for the Spartans (6-7) in a pool-play game of the La Cañada Holiday Tournament.
