Glendale DUI patrol yields five arrests
Police arrested five people Friday during a patrol dedicated to finding drugged and drunk drivers throughout the city.
Of the five arrests for driving under the influence, two motorists were taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving during the patrol operation held from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., according to Glendale police.
The remaining three motorists were allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.
Officers stopped 36 vehicles and stored two of them.
They conducted 11 field sobriety tests and issued two infractions during the citywide operation.
A motorist was also arrested on suspicion of driving without a valid license.
