A Glendale man is in stable condition after allegedly being stabbed by his son early Friday morning.

At about 1 a.m., Glendale Police responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on the 1300 block of N. Louise Street.

Details on the man’s injury were not available, but he was transported to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for stab wounds, police said.

Another male at the apartment had a small cut on his finger, but was cleared by the medical team on the scene, said Glendale Police Sgt. Mark Hess.

The son, whose name is not yet being released, was taken into custody on Friday, according to Hess.

Glendale Police detectives are still investigating what led to the assault.
