SPORTS ROUNDUP: Golden Knights get Mission League win against Wolverines

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

St. Francis 65, Harvard-Westlake 55: Kyle Leufroy finished with a team-high 25 points Friday to spark the visiting Golden Knights in a Mission League game. Evan Crawford collected 13 points for St. Francis (13-12, 3-7 in league).

Flintridge Prep 74, Rio Hondo Prep 67: Three Rebels finished in double figures Friday night with Jedrick Eugenio scoring a team-high 19, followed closely by Robert Cartwright and Kareem Ismail, who added 18 and 15 points, respectively.

Crescenta Valley 74, Burroughs 40: Cole Currie flirted with a triple-double on Crescenta Valley’s home floor Friday, as he finished with 30 points on seven three-pointers, 10 assists and seven rebounds for the Falcons (19-6, 10-2 in the Pacific League), who also got 17 points on five threes from Kris Jabourian.

Pasadena 66, Glendale 51: Vahe Aristakessian notched a team-best 22 points Friday for the host Nitros in a Pacific League contest. Arada Zakarian added 19 points for Glendale (9-15, 4-8 in league).

Arcadia 48, Hoover 46: The Tornadoes fell on the road by Friday to bring their record to 12-11, 4-8 in the Pacific League.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 52, Rio Hondo Prep 38: Talia Ismail and Lacy Coan paced the Rebels on the road Friday with 17 and 15 points, respectively. Flintridge Prep improved to 15-5, 8-1 in the Prep League with the win.

Glendale 53, Pasadena 43: Kristineh Zadourian had 19 points to pace the Nitros in a Pacific League win Friday.

Ellin Avanessian had 13 points on four three-pointers for Glendale (13-10, 6-6 in league), while Erlin Keshishzadeh added 10 points.

Burroughs 56, Crescenta Valley 30: Tanisha Minassian finished with a team-high eight points in a losing effort for the Falcons (9-16, 4-8 in the Pacific League) at home Friday.

Holy Family 43, Alverno 19: Tabitha Ruiz finished with 19 points Thursday for the visiting Gaels in an Horizon League contest at Foothill Community Church in Pasadena. Melissa Chan had 13 points for Holy Family (5-11, 2-4 in league).

Louisville 54, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 32: Dana Budzyn had nine points Thursday for the host Tologs in a Mission League game. Casey Johnson and Jenna Tran had six points each for Flintridge Sacred Heart (9-15, 0-8 in league).

BOYS’ SOCCER

Glendale 3, Pasadena 2: The host Nitros posted a Pacific League upset victory Friday. Glendale improved to 9-10-2, 4-7-1 in league

Arcadia 5, Hoover 2: The visiting Tornadoes suffered a Pacific League road defeat Friday. Hoover dropped to 2-9-4, 1-9-2.

Flintridge Prep 1, Pasadena Poly 1: Goalkeeper Clayton Weirick made three saves Friday for the Rebels in a Prep League match.

WOMEN’S TENNIS

Mount San Antonio College 8, Glendale Community College 1: The visiting Vaqueros (0-2) dropped a nonconference match Friday. Sofia Tavitian and Ally Amour teamed up for an 8-3 win for the Vaqueros’ lone point.

MEN’S TENNIS

Riverside College 9, Glendale Community College 0: The Vaqueros (1-1) fell Thursday in a nonconference match.
