Khashakyan leads locals at Valley Fight Night

A dynamic muay Thai kickboxers who’s transformed into a burgeoning mixed martial artist, Alfred Khashakyan will take his next step forward Friday when he leads a local contingent at Valley Fight Night 3 at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City.

Khaskhakyan, Vardan Sholinian and Levon Sargsyan of the Glendale Fighting Club and Daniel Clark of Burbank Gracie Barra will compete.

Khashakyan (4-1), who’s won all four of his bouts via knockout, will take on Anthony Paredes (3-1) in the co-main event.

Sholinian (5-1) is set to face Anthony Hernandez (2-0), while Sargsyan (2-2) toes the line with Chris Rodriguez (1-2). Clark (3-2) will square off with Marlen Magee (3-2).

The card is set to be headlined by Southern California crowd favorite Thor Skancke (6-6) taking on Jason Cordero (5-6). It will also feature Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Eddie Mendez.
