MARTIN CARL GRANGETTO
1931 – 2012 Martin (“Marty”) Carl Grangetto recently passed away at his home in Idaho.
Born in Glendale, California, Marty and his sister Rita were raised in Burbank, California by their parents, Martin and Jeanette Grangetto.
Marty was an animal lover and horse trainer his entire life. He provided a loving home to many needy animals over the years, never turning away any stray. Marty excelled at teaching students and their horses the fine art of horseback riding. Many life lessons were also shared during those training sessions, some of which his students carry with them to this day.
Marty touched and positively influenced everyone he came in contact with during his life. His kindness and generosity will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Marty is survived by his wife Flora, daughter Peggy, niece Kellie (Clark) Baker, three aunts and uncles, three cousins, and countless friends he made over the years.
A memorial celebration of Marty’s life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in the Old North Church.
