Share

Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Chase Bank at 500 N. Glendale Ave. on Monday and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

At 12:40 p.m., the suspect entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller, said Tahnee Lightfoot, a spokeswoman with the Glendale Police Department.

The suspect indicated that he had a weapon, but no one saw it, Lightfoot said.

He was last seen on foot heading eastbound on Doran Avenue toward Adams Street.

The suspect is believed to be a 40-year-old black man who’s bald, is 5 feet 8 and weighs 160 pounds, according to police.

He was also wearing circular glasses, a burgundy polo-style shirt and black pants.

The FBI is also investigating, Lightfoot said.
