Pasadena Humane Society to host assemblymen

On Tuesday, the Pasadena Humane Society will waive all adoption fees for dogs, cats, rabbits and birds, including fees for the first round of vaccinations, spaying and neutering surgeries and micro-chipping.

The event is dubbed “Gatto’s Gatos, Holden’s Huskies and Chau’s Chows,” named after Assemblymen Mike Gatto (D-Silver Lake), Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) and Ed Chau (D-Monterey Park), who all helped organize the event.

Each person who adopts a pet on Tuesday will be receive a gift from the assemblymen, who will all be at the humane society’s shelter from 11 a.m. to noon.

Adoptions hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Pasadena Humane Society is located at 361 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena. Parking is available on site.
