Pedestrian struck by car near Crescenta Valley High School

A 20-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car near Crescenta Valley High School Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

At around 1:15 p.m., Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials were called to Encinal and Ramsdell avenues, where the pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Chad Sauter.

Further details about the driver were not immediately available.

The pedestrian was reportedly transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
