Scott Thomas Evans died September 1, 2011, peacefully at home with his family, at the age of 59, after a valiant struggle. Scott was born to Eva and Joseph T. Evans on January 22, 1952 in Glendale, CA. After graduating from Hoover High and Glendale College, he went on to San Diego State University where he graduated with a B.S. in business. After graduating, he went to work for, and eventually owned the family business, Joe Evans Tires in Glendale.

Scott loved to hunt on his ranch inside the Tejon Ranch in Lebec. But his greatest passion was for fishing on the Pacific Ocean aboard the family boat. He was also co-owner of the sportfishing boat El Capitan, in Point Loma, CA.

All will remember Scott as an honest and honorable gentleman, with enthusiasm for all that he did.
