Sports Roundup: Flintridge Prep girls’ basketball stays atop Prep League

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 50, Westridge 42: Tala Ismail registered a team-high 15 points Thursday to lift the visiting Rebels in a Prep League contest. Maya Okamoto and Lacy Coan finished with 12 and nine points, respectively, for Flintridge Prep (10-2, 3-0 in league).

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 49, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 46: Jenna Tran had a team-high 18 points and Casey Johnson added 11 on Thursday for the host Tologs in a Mission League contest. Maddie Wirthlin contributed 12 rebounds for Flintridge Sacred Heart (6-14, 1-3 in league).

San Gabriel Mission 44, Holy Family 39: Charisse Talaro and Melissa Chan recorded 12 points apiece for the visiting Gaels on Thursday in a Horizon League game. Holy Family dropped to 3-15, 2-3 in league.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 7, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 4: Maddy Dulcich finished with a pair of goals Thursday for the host Tologs in a Mission League match. Flintridge Sacred Heart (8-10, 1-3 in league) got one goal apiece from Presley Maron and Mary Farley.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 70, Kilpatrick 24: The host Rebels (6-13) received 16 points from Scott Tsangeos to earn a nonleague victory Wednesday.
