Sports Roundup: Flintridge Prep girls’ volleyball ousts Alhambra

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Prep 3, Alhambra 2: Visiting Flintridge Prep picked up a 19-25, 25-12, 25-20, 23-25, 16-14 nonleague win Wednesday. Lauren Stiles finished with 41 digs and five aces for the Rebels (1-1). Nicole Emmons contributed 17 kills and five blocks for Flintridge Prep, which got 16 kills from Dani Motte.

GIRLS’ GOLF

Crescenta Valley 263, La Salle 288: The Falcons registered a nonleague win Wednesday at Brookside Golf Course No. 2. Emily Redecker finished with an 11-over-par 46 for the Falcons.

West Ranch 9, Crescenta Valley 9 (74-73): Marie Arutyunyan of Crescenta Valley won a pair of singles (6-2, 6-4) in a nonleague road match Wednesday. The Falcons dropped to 1-1.

Maranatha 10, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 8: The host Tologs (0-2) fell Wednesday in a nonleague match at Fremont Tennis Center.
