GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Holy Family 3, L.A. Sacred Heart of Jesus 2: The visiting Gaels notched their first win of the season, getting 15 assists and seven aces from Sky Marquez to earn a 12-25, 25-22, 25-11, 19-25, 15-12 Horizon League win Thursday at Lincoln Park Recreation Center. Melanie Ibarra added 13 digs for Holy Family (1-9, 1-5 in league).

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 0: Kayla Lund collected 13 kills and 11 digs Thursday to help the host Tologs post a 25-15, 25-15, 25-19 Mission League victory. Sophia Coffey added 31 assists for the Tologs, who improved to 13-4, 3-1 in league.

Pasadena Poly 3, Flintridge Prep 0: Flintridge Prep suffered a 25-18, 25-21, 25-18 Prep League road defeat Thursday. Dani Motte finished with 10 kills for the Rebels, who are 3-7, 2-5 in league.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Crescenta Valley 13, Burroughs 5: Annie Park and Ashley An swept their three doubles sets without losing a game to pace the host Falcons to a Pacific League victory Thursday. The Falcons improved to 5-8, 4-7 in league.

Arcadia 16, Hoover 2: Visiting Hoover fell Thursday in a Pacific League match. The Tornadoes are 8-6, 5-5 in league.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

College of the Canyons 3, Glendale Community College 0: The host Vaqueros fell, 25-12, 25-19, 25-15, on Wednesday in a Western State Conference South Division match. The Vaqueros are 3-16, 1-3 in the division.
