Two men who allegedly robbed a medical marijuana clinic in Woodland Hills were arrested early Wednesday after crashing their truck into a building in South Los Angeles during a pursuit, officials said.
Around 4:30 a.m., patrol officers with the LAPD's West Valley Division responded to a burglary call at a marijuana dispensary in the 19650 block of Ventura Boulevard, authorities said.
A security guard reported seeing two suspects get on to the roof before entering the business, police said, and were seen carrying bags before they fled around 4:35 a.m. in a silver Ford pickup truck.
Officers said they attempted to stop the vehicle, and a vehicle pursuit began from Ventura Boulevard to the 405 Freeway south, exiting on Manchester Boulevard.
About 15 minutes after the chase began, the suspects crashed the truck into a building on 84th Place and West Boulevard, police said.
One suspect, who was not immediately identified, was taken into custody moments after the crash, officials said, and police set up a perimeter to search for the second suspect, who was located by a police dog.
