Two teens suspected of burglarizing Glendale home

Two teenagers from Los Angeles were taken into custody Monday after neighbors reportedly saw them fleeing from a Glendale home they’d allegedly just burglarized, police said.

When the resident returned to her home in the 1200 block of East Harvard Street at 1:05 p.m., her dogs were barking, and neighbors told her they’d seen two teenagers running from her backyard, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

Upon responding, officers located the 16-year-old boys, who had allegedly stolen a laptop after entering the home through a back window. The teenagers were slated to be taken to the police station, where they’ll be cited and released to a parent or guardian.

Police don’t believe the suspects are connected to other recent home burglaries.
