It looked as if the Hoover Tornadoes were ready to dispel the ghosts of defeat Thursday in a league game against the host Crescenta Valley Falcons. However, offensive weapon Hannah Cookson delivered a monster two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning that broke a tie and paved the way for an 8-6 victory for the Falcons.
