Newport Beach-based Lemon Drop Club, which hosts singles parties in Orange County geared for adults around the age of 40 and older, will have its Toys for Tots fundraiser party from 7 to midnight at the Wyndham Hotel, 3350 Avenue of the Arts, Costa Mesa. Bring an unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program. C-47 Day

The Douglas C-47 Dakota “Willa Dean” military transport aircraft, the latest airplane to the Lyon Air Museum’s collection, takes to the air at noon on C-47 Day. The Museum is at the John Wayne Airport. The air show is dependent on weather — flying requires zero precipitation. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
