The Palm Terrace's Cocoa Lounge Desert Buffet runs Tuesday through Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Island Hotel, 690 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. 'A-26 Day'

An authentic Douglas A-26 Invader attack bomber takes the sky at noon from John Wayne Airport. It belongs to the airport's Lyon Air Museum, 19300 Ike Jones Road, Santa Ana.
