FRIDAY: Celebrate the reopening of Heisler Park with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. by Mayor Toni Iseman near the “Breaching Whale” sculpture by the Rockpile Beach restroom. This marks the completion of the final phase of park renovation.

SATURDAY: : Enjoy an afternoon of music and eclectic performance during “Fête de la Musique,” presented by the Laguna Beach Sister Cities Assn. at 2 p.m., with an opening ceremony at Main Beach cobblestones. Musicians and singers will perform at several locations downtown. The festivities end with a sing-along at 4:30 p.m. at Main Beach. Admission is free. Test yourself on a difficult, strenuous and fast-paced, 5-mile hike (700-foot elevation gain) over very steep, uneven terrain with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteers from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Ridge Park Staging Area (Newport Coast Drive to Ridge Park Road, east to end; meet at the gate.) Searching for Health Information

Learn how to search for health information online from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays, except on the Fourth of July, at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. Discover ways to recognize, prevent and treat diseases and conditions that occur with age and build your internet skills at the same time. Yoga in the Wilderness

Enjoy a peaceful, 1.5-mile walk while learning yoga stretches and breathing and relaxation exercises with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteers, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, James Dilley Preserve (east side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, just north of 73 Toll Road). $2 donation per person. Seniors Ping Pong

Transition Dance

Transition Laguna holds an open dance party with a mix of world music from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays at the Woman’s Club of Laguna Beach, 286 St. Ann’s Drive. $10 donation. A portion of the proceeds goes to Transition Laguna.

Hortense Miller Garden

The Hortense Miller Garden covers 21/2 acres of the upper slopes of Boat Canyon and features a range of plants and small-themed gardens.
