Pet Of The Week

Emails and calls to our rescue phone lines continue to report found dogs, cats and kittens without identification. An oceanfront home on the Balboa Peninsula has a mother with three feral kittens and a foster family is needed to rescue them.

The black-and-white kitten named Star (pictured) is friendly and was found on a busy street just walking around. She is safe now and available for adoption.

Shelters are filled with peoples’ cats and dogs that are never claimed. Your veterinarian can implant a tiny, pencil-lead-sized microchip that could help return your pet to you.
