Renowned Chef to Visit JCC

Chef Judy Zeidler, author of several Jewish and kosher cookbooks, will give a tour of the tastes of Northern Italian cuisine at the Merage Jewish Community Center of Orange County, 1 Federation Way, Irvine. Holiday Party

Style 2020, a professional styling company, hosts a holiday party from 6 to 8 p.m. at its offices in Suite 100, 888 San Clemente Drive, Newport Beach.

Toy Drive and Mixer

The Wellness Choice Center at 1101 Dove St., Suite 255, Newport Beach, holds its annual Holiday Toy Drive and Mixer. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served and people are asked to bring new, unwrapped toys, which will be donated to needy children. The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Holiday Soiree and Benefit

School board member Katrina Foley hosts her third annual Holiday Soiree and Benefit from 7 to 9 p.m. at Mesa Restaurant in the Camp, 725 Baker St., Costa Mesa. Vivaldi's Four Seasons

Toy Drive

Art Show

Orange County Fine Arts, an association of OC artists, presents an exhibition of artistic works by its members at the Showcase Gallery, South Coast Plaza Village, 3851 S. Bear St., Santa Ana. The gallery is open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.


Pop-Up Gallery

A free and public exhibit, "On Display in Orange County: Modern and Contemporary Sculpture," will be displayed on the penthouse level at South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St.


Bikers and Santa to Pick Up Toys

Santa Claus and as many as 70 members of the Orange Coast Harley Owners Group Chapter will be arriving at Pretend City Children's Museum in Irvine on their Harleys to pick up donated toys for the Children's Hospital of Orange County. The museum is at 29 Hubble, and the event will go from noon to 1 p.m.


Holiday Puppet Show

The Newport Beach Public Library presents "The Night BEARfore Christmas," a holiday puppet show for children. Lemondrop Toys for Tots Party

Newport Beach-based Lemon Drop Club, which hosts singles parties in Orange County geared for adults around the age of 40 and older, will have its Toys for Tots Holiday party from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Newport Beach Elks Lodge, 3456 Via Oporto. Bring an unwrapped toy for kids to be received by the U.S. Marines. A free dance lesson will be offered from 7 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and parking is $3. No membership is required.
