Balboa Island Holiday Home Walking Tour

Eight beach cottages and bay front homes will be specially decorated for the 15th annual Balboa Island Holiday Home Walking Tour. The event starts at 11 a.m. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchases at five stores on the island: Island Home, Even Sisters, Martha's Bookstore, The Persimmon Tree and The Gift Box. Island Museum Opening

The Balboa Island Museum & Historical Society, at 351 Marine Ave., will celebrate its grand opening. The opening will coincide with the island's Holiday Home Walking Tour.

Handel's 'Messiah'

Casey's Cupcakes will celebrate the grand opening of its store at Fashion Island with special Glitter Stiletto Cupcakes. The cupcakes will sell for $4 each.


Welsh Christmas

Toy Drive

Art Show

Orange County Fine Arts, an association of OC artists, presents an exhibition of artistic works by its members at the Showcase Gallery, South Coast Plaza Village, 3851 S. Bear St., Santa Ana. Pop-up Gallery

Dinosaur Jr.

Alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr. makes its Segerstrom Center for the Arts debut with a concert at Samueli Theater. 'Spaceman' Visits Newport

E-Book Training

Newport Beach Public Library offers a hands-on eBook training session from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Central Library Friends Room, 1000 Avocado Ave., Newport Beach.
