Film Society Series

The Laguna Beach Film Society's four-month-long documentary series "The Earth's Sustainability in Film," begins at 7 p.m. at the Forum Theatre. Two films will be shown: "Garbage Warrior" and "Plastic Tide." Tickets are $15 at the door.


Fujiko Signs Speaks

"The Lord's Prayer and Healing," will be presented at a free public lecture at 3 p.m. at the Christian Science church at 635 High Drive, Laguna Beach. Fujiko Signs, an authorized teacher of Christian Science, a practitioner and lecturer, will speak.


Mystery Authors

Support Group Meeting

A monthly support group for families with youth who struggle with addictions is from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at 303 Broadway, Suite 107. A team of recovery caregivers will offer up help, hope and education in dealing with this issue.


Discussion Groups

Great Decisions Discussion Groups are starting up again, co-sponsored by the League of Women voters and the Social Action Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Laguna Beach. Eight topics will be discussed this year, with meetings on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of the month.
