e-Waste Collection

The city of Costa Mesa, together with the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Orange Coast Computers and Recycling, will be collecting e-waste for recycling. The event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a drive-through service at City Hall, 77 Fair Drive.

MLK Day Service at Fairview

The Rev. Dr. Art Cribbs, executive director of the California Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice group and an ordained minister at the United Church of Christ, will appear at a Martin Luther King Day Jr. service at 10 a.m. at Fairview Community Church, 2525 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.

Baseball Clinic at Great Park

The Orange County Great Park will offer a free baseball clinic for boys and girls ages 7 to 12. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the North Lawn. For more information, go to https://www.ocgp.org.

Pinch Me

Food Drive

The city of Irvine and Second Harvest Food Bank are holding a food drive to help the needy during the holidays. The city and Second Harvest are seeking the following types of food donations, including: canned fruit and juices, canned soups, rice, cereal, canned veggies, canned fish, chicken or meat. Improv Jazz concert
