Pet of The Week

Koda is a beautiful 7-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix, who is a very mellow fellow.

He recently arrived at the shelter as a stray and became an immediate volunteer favorite. For such a large dog (weighing about 100 pounds), he is unusually gentle on leash and appears to be house-trained. His healthy coat will look best with regular brushings.

Already neutered and not a barker, Koda exhibits a calm demeanor with other dogs. He will even sit patiently for a "cookie" and then melt you with his soft brown eyes.

Adoption fees are discounted 25% all week for our featured pet when you mention this announcement. Come visit the Orange County Humane Society, 21632 Newland St., Huntington Beach.
