'Become a Naturalist'

The Environmental Nature Center, 1601 E. 16th St., Newport Beach, presents an after-school workshop with naturalist Alex Lane, which will be given from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays in February, except for Feb. 22. The nonprofit group Working Wardrobes is looking for volunteers to staff its upcoming "Dream Girls and Distinguished Gentlemen Prom," as well as donations of dresses, tuxedos, accessories and shoes for this special event for 150 high-risk youths. Musical Journey to the Stars

As part of its series of Family Musical Mornings, the Pacific Symphony will perform "Symphony in Space," a concert featuring music from "Star Wars" and more.
