Pet of The Week

Share

Peter, right, is a 3-year-old cocker spaniel mix and Wendy, left, is a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix.

Wendy may be Peter’s mother, judging by how she keeps him in line. This dynamic duo arrived as strays in November and, at first, were very frightened.

However, staff and volunteers have successfully encouraged them to be more comfortable with people and other dogs. In fact, they are now eager to go on walks and make a very lively couple. While still needing a bit more socialization and training, they have made considerable progress.

It would be ideal for these two to be adopted together, as they are quite attached to one another. Both are altered, and adoption fees for each dog will be discounted 25% all week, when you mention this announcement.
