OCC Original Play Festival

The Orange Coast College Repertory will present seven original short plays, including ones written by OCC students. Shows will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday and April 21 and 22, as well as at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission to the shows at OCC’s Drama Studio Lab Theatre is free. Runway Dash & e-Recycle Day

Bridal Gown Sample Sale


Working Wardrobes hosts a bridal gown sample sale from 9 a.m. to noon at its offices at 3030 Pullman St., Suite A, Costa Mesa. ‘April Showers to Flowers’

The UC Irvine Arboretum will have its annual “April Showers to Flowers” plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The arboretum is south of the intersection of Campus Drive and Jamboree Road at UCI’s North Campus.

Car Wash Fundraiser for Marines

The Newport Beach 1st Battalion, 1st Marines Foundation will stage a car wash from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Newport Dunes, 1131 Back Bay Drive, Newport Beach.
