The Eric Marienthal All-Stars, comprising Eric Marienthal, Brian Bromberg — both Grammy nominees — and keyboardist Mitch Forman, will take center stage from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 17 for the final Jazz on the Green Concert.

“We are truly honored to have the opportunity to showcase Eric, Brian and Mitch at the Festival of Arts,” Susan Davis, the festival’s director of special events, wrote in a release. “Having these three extraordinary musicians together is an excellent way to end this year’s Jazz on the Green series. Don’t miss it!”

Admission is free with Festival of Arts admission; limited seating is available for $25 per concert.

The Laguna Concert Band presents its final concert for the Summer at the Festival season at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Festival of Arts grounds.

Seven-year-old Sydney Haik will kick off the show with a rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner,” while the rest of the event features a wide range of music including “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” “O Sole Mio,” “Cry Me A River,” excerpts from “My Fair Lady” and “Oklahoma!” and more.

Admission is free for Laguna Beach residents and non-residents pay $10.

The Sawdust Art Festival will present its annual Artists’ Benevolence Fund Art Auction on Sunday. This nonprofit source of financial assistance supports Laguna Beach-based artists who are unable to pursue their craft due to catastrophic events, extreme financial difficulties, personal illness or other circumstances.

The silent auction will last from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Healy House, and the live auction will follow from 2 to 5 p.m. on the Main Deck.

The Laguna Playhouse rolls out its first special bonus offering of the 2013 season, “Britishmania,” a Beatles tribute concert.

“How amazing to hear 35 Beatles classics performed authentically in just about two hours!” Artistic Director Ann Wareham said in a release. “Our audiences and Beatles fans will be in heaven.”

Performances run Aug. 13 through 25 at 606 Laguna Canyon Road. Shows will be hosted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. There will be additional performances at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 and at 2 p.m. Aug. 22.

Admission ranges from $35 to $60; student and group discounts are available at the box office.
