Two bits: Great Clips haircut locations will offer a free haircut or a haircut card on Monday to all active, inactive and retired military members, including members of the National Guard. Reduce, reuse, recycle: Apparel retailer H&M; is offering customers a 15% discount voucher when they bring in a grocery bag of used clothes in any condition to donate or to be recycled. Clothes are sent to a processing plant, where they are hand-sorted. Items that are too worn to be reworn can be converted into other products. Celebrity cuisine: Chef Rick Bayless has opened his new flagship Red O restaurant at Fashion Island, 143 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. Cultural studies: The Orange Coast College Friends of the Library will present "Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys" at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in the library community room at the college, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.
