Traditional lighting of the Surfboard Menorah

The annual lighting of the Surfboard Menorah took place Sunday on the cobblestones at Laguna’s Main Beach. The menorah is composed of surfboards that are damaged or unusable, designed by Steve Sasche in 2008 and assembled by Mike Thomkins and Tony Hempen.
