Arrested Marina High wrestling coach is suspected of having sexual relationship with student

A Marina High School walk-on wrestling coach was arrested Friday on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with an underage student.

The Huntington Beach Police Department started investigating Kevin Rayford, 30, of Seal Beach about a possible relationship with a student at the school after school staff and district officials reported allegations against him, according to police Capt. Tim Martin.

Rayford was booked at the Huntington Beach Jail on suspicion of unlawful sexual acts with a minor, Martin said.
