Costa Mesa council to discuss goals and priorities during special meeting Friday

Costa Mesa City Council members will discuss their top goals for this year and beyond during an all-day retreat Friday.

The special meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Gershwin Room of the grand ballroom at the Avenue of the Arts hotel.

A morning session will include updates and discussion of key initiatives, notable ongoing projects and issues that need to be addressed.

After a lunch break from about 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., staff and council members will regroup to discuss priorities for the coming year and into the future.

The meeting is open to the public, and comments will be accepted.

The hotel is at 3350 Avenue of the Arts, Costa Mesa.
