City’s website provides access

How much do Costa Mesa city employees get paid? What did the last independent audit of the city find, and how is the city’s search for outside contractors for city services going?

With a few clicks on Costa Mesa’s website, all of those questions can be answered and more.

The city has launched a “transparency” tag on the city’s website, https://www.ci.costa-mesa.ca.us, that shows a trove of public information not previously available online for residents.

The city is developing more features on the site, such as requesting public documents electronically and viewing campaign contributions to City Council candidates.
