Brent William Bradley
November 14, 1965- April 12, 2011

Brent William Bradley, Costa Mesa, passed away on April 12, 2011, from a fall while visiting Lahaina, Maui. He was 45.
Brent was born, and raised in Newport Beach, California. He attended Corona del Mar High School for 2 years eventually transferring and graduating with the Newport Harbor High School class of 1984. There, he played football and volleyball. He also played on the Balboa Bay Club’s volleyball team.
Everyone from the local grocery store to the neighborhood coffee house knew Brent and he knew them all by name. He was known as Uncle B or Bob-O to his nieces and nephews. Family and friends also called him Herb, Mr. B, Bubba, and B.T.
Brent’s number one passion was making sure his daughter had all she needed to succeed in a, “Sighted” world. He did this by volunteering at the Blind Children’s Learning Center. From the age of 5 he was an avid dirt bike rider. He also had a deep love for the beach. He could be found surfing or just watching the waves and talking with other surfers.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Chrissy Bond-Bradley, daughter, Kendall Marie, mother Doris Davis, father James Bradley, brother Greg Holden, sister Allison Spoulos, brother-in-law Ted Spoulos, mother and father-in law, Rich and Ginnie Bond, sister-in-law Jennifer Hempstead, brother-in-law Steve Hempstead 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
A memorial was held in Maui on April 20, 2011. One is also planned at Blackies Beach, Newport Beach, Ca on May 14 at 5:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to join in on a paddle out in remembrance. A college fund will be set-up for Kendall. Donations will be accepted at the services.
