The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach announced Tuesday that it was recognized as an outstanding luxury resort.
Condé Nast Traveler readers ranked the resort as Southern California's top resort, with a score of 96.1.
"We are delighted to be the first and only Southern California resort to earn three consecutive top honors, including a top national ranking, from Condé Nast Traveler readers, who are certainly among the world's most discerning travelers," Pelican Hill Managing Director Giuseppe Lama said in a prepared statement.
Last year, Condé Nast Traveler also named Pelican Hill a top U.S. resort when the lists were national before they went regional this year.
In April, Condé Nast Traveler readers also rated the Pelican Hill Golf Club as a top course in the world, and the June 2012 issue named The Spa at Pelican Hill California's top resort spa.
