Marie P (Falvey) Kokernak passed away on March 29th after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Louis S Kokernak who died in 1997. She is survived by a son Louis S Kokernak Jr. of Austin, Texas. Another son, Jeffrey, died in 1952. She leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Marie was born in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sinon F. Falvey. She retired from the Worcester Telegram & Gazette newspaper in 1988. Marie moved to Newport Beach, CA in 1998 and to Austin, TX in 2008. There are no calling hours or funeral in Austin. Marie will be buried in the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA.
